Inspired by the rich history of the most elegant street in downtown San Francisco, we have created a retro style bar and revived its historical name, Iron Horse. Originally opened in 1954 as Iron Horse Restaurant by famous Bay Area restaurateur Leo Giorgetti, it was one of the city's top dining and drinking spots for over 20 years, favored by celebrities and political figures, including Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and Liberace. Marilyn Monroe and hometown baseball hero, Joe DiMaggio, had their wedding reception here. Thus, Iron Horse became the first-rate city destination for anyone hoping to see and to be seen and we strive to keep this tradition nowadays.We have created our craft cocktail menu based on the classic heritage using the most recent mixology technics, such as barrel aging and slow drip infusions. At Iron Horse Cocktails you will find drinks that reflect any gourmet preferences and our bartenders will be happy to create one for your own special taste. There are also several beers on tap including local brews and our favorite bottled beers from all over the world. We have put together years of beverage industry expertise in creating this bar and move forward with full dedication for high standards in customer service.
